I am married to a wonderful man, and have one son, whom I can proudly say served for the US Army, spending a tour in Iraq.

We also have some fur children as well. Currently we have 4 dogs (a Doberman, a Caviler King Charles, a Husky/lab mix, and a terrier mix that was rescue out of Mexico), and 2 cats, and 2 recently adopted kittens.

My love for animals and nature, in general, has been with me since a very young age. It is a trait handed down from my father.

Nothing gives me more peace than when I'm in nature surrounded by its beauty. It is in this space where I feel most connected to the world.

I enjoy the challenges of trying to catch that special something each animal, bug, tree or flower has in a way that, hopefully, moves people to want to care for the few wonderful places left.

I also enjoy photographing people in a way that captures their spirit.
